Pepc Foundation Partners Dangote, Kokun Foundations To Distribute Rice Palliatives To Ikorodu Residents

Large number of residents leaving the Igbogbo stadium with bags of rive distributed by the Aliko Dangote Foundation through Pepc Foundation in Ikorodu

A total of 4000 bags of 10kg rice were distributed to residents of Ikorodu Division, on Friday, as food palliatives to cushion the effects of the current harsh economy in the country.

The gesture, which was sponsored by the Aliko Dangote Foundation, was facilitated by the PEPC Foundation through another humanitarian body, Kokun Foundation.

Beneficiaries, who gathered at the Igbogbo Stadium, along the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, lgbogbo in lgbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, returned to their various homes with smiles on their faces.

They commended the partnering foundations for the gesture.

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, was represented at the distribution by the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya and other traditional chiefs.

Mr Ade Bolowotan, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA led other council officials to the venue.
